ベニハワイミツスイ - Iiwi - Drepanis coccinea

頭から脚までちょっとびっくりするような澄んだ赤い色で、嘴はとても長い。姿だけでなくて、時々雄はつま先立ってキューキューコポコポと妻への愛を吐き出す。愛すべきキテレツな鳥だけに、ずいぶん数が減っているようで心配だ。
