コシアカツバメ - Red-rumped Swallow - Cecropis daurica

今年も東京にツバメがやって来たので、何かツバメ、と思ったのだがあまりよい写真が見つからない。満足の行く写真ではないけれども、ちょっと好きなコシアカツバメにした。


Hirundo属のツバメはどこへ行ってもだいたい、いわゆる「ツバメ」か「リュウキュウツバメ」が多いので、この二つ以外のツバメを見ると新鮮な心持ちがする。なかでもコシアカツバメは、ちょっと大きくて、色彩や紋様も工夫があって、また飛び方も達者で、少なからず得をした気分になる。

写真はすべて少し以前に台湾で撮ったものだが、日本では隠岐などでも見たことがある。
